After a long Corona break, it was time again for a Maxx Formula event on August 28th. The opening race took place this year in Most, CZ. The H&A Racing Team started with the following drivers:
- Veronika Jaksch (CZE), Dallara GP2
- Wolfgang Jordan (GER), Dallara GP2
- Bernd Herndlhofer (AUT), Arrows A22 F1
The first race ended with a sensational result for the whole team. Veronika fought her way up from 8th place to 6th place, Wolfgang secured 6th place, and Bernd drove the race home to 1st place after a hard fight with the Italian Alessandro Bracalente.
As a cherry on top, Bernd broke the current track record and set a new best mark with a time of 1:22.981.
As successful as the first race was, the second race was unfortunately disappointing. While Veronika and Bernd retired at the beginning of the race due to technical problems, Wolfgang only managed 10th place.
All in all, a successful weekend.
